A solid LMS Contender
While I haven't used LifterLMS, I hear it is a very competitive product. They have a free version so this might be a good place to experiment. Just remember you can't copy courses and user data from one LMS to another.
Feature Rich Add-ons
The two client sites I showed during the presentation made good use of the LearnDash plugins from Uncanny Owl. They have a free LearnDask toolkit which is helpful. Plus a Pro version which I often use.
LearnDash Tips & Tricks Group
The LearnDash Tips and Tricks group on Facebook has some helpful information. Might be a good place to post a question if you're stumped.
Membership Site with LearnDash

This is the theme I use for client sites. It's light weight, developer friendly and cost effective. As a bonus, it's also one of the themes recommended by LearnDash.
Demo Site Ready to Use
The Astra theme is also recommended by LearnDash. You can download a test site from Astra with demo courses. A quick way to get a test site up and running.
Popular Page Builder
Elementor is a very popular page builder. You'll see many examples on the LearnDash website use Elementor. There's a free version and a premium version.
